What to look for when hiring a wedding photographer

I hope you all had the best holidays, and I want to extend my congratulations if you got engaged over the holidays!  This is such an exciting time for you.  Planning a wedding isn’t easy but I can make it a little easier when looking for a wedding photographer.

Remember when the day is over your photographs is all you will have left of that special day so choose wisely when it comes to your photographer.  Wedding photography isn’t going to be cheap so make sure you budget accordingly.  This is something where you will want to put a good amount toward.

Before I got into the wedding business I used to think that wedding photography is way over priced.  Now that I have quite a bit of weddings under my belt, we are actually underpaid for all that we do that day and beyond.

We become your friend, we become the wedding planner if you didn’t hire someone as that.  We make the day move along up to the reception then your DJ should take over.  We are support when things don’t go perfect and we just make it work for you.  We make the schedule of the day around your ceremony and reception.  We take the stress out of the day by reassuring you that everything is moving on schedule.  Plus we are documenting one of the most special days of your life along with all the other tasks.

I absolutely love being apart of your story!  And I love delivering the images knowing you will get to replay that day over and over.   Remember just don’t look at the cost, look at the person who will be along side of you for that most amazing day.  You want someone who will be a friend but someone that will move your schedule along as planned.
