Happy New Year!!  I know I am a few weeks behind 🙂

I just had this couple’s sweet baby girl in the studio.  I’ve had these images resized waiting to be blogged for a few weeks now and I am finally just getting to it.  It’s so easy to move on to the next session but this one I just love so much!

It was so windy the morning of this session.  I was out at my oldest’s championship baseball tournament and it was so cold.  I kept asking my client if she was sure she didn’t want to reschedule due to the weather and she said no, it would be fine to keep our appointment.  Thankfully we did!  The wind died down and we got the most beautiful golden sunset.  And my son ended up winning their championship game that day as well!

As we were chatting through email before the session date she asked if I helped with posing.  I absolutely do.  I am always learning and trying new poses to make me grow in this gift.  I can see what I want in my head and I will help direct you and your family.  That is part of my job.  I want to see the love and connection between a couple or family, and these two did not disappoint. Plus her outfit choices were on point <3

I will be sharing their sweet baby girl here next.  It was so wonderful to see them again at their newborn shoot now as a family of 3.
