This session was so good. Mom knew exactly what she wanted and I love personalizing these sessions to represent you. Dad is a pilot and mom is a jewelry designer and dad played his guitar during her whole pregnancy so as we went over setups we did a few to mirror their lives at this time. When we were setting up the guitar pose baby wasn’t a fan of being on his belly but as dad started strumming him guitar baby settled right down and we got the shots. It’s truly amazing to watch how these newborns like to be soothed.

Baby had some of the best hair I have seen on a newborn but hey, look at his parents 🙂 this session was good for my soul creating this art for them to cherish forever.

I’ll say it on repeat, get those newborn pictures done. I would love to personalize your session to reflect you. They will never be this small again and this phase goes by in a blink. I promise you won’t regret having these done. Even when you look back in six months you’ll have a totally different baby.

Gruene Texas Maternity Pictures

Well it’s been a minute for a blog post. I feel like social media is getting harder and harder for small business to find their customers so here I am back to the basics of my website and google.

I’m not gonna lie, this economy has been ruff lately and I think a lot of us is feeling it. I just want to put it out there that I truly appreciate my clients when adding me and my services into your budget. I am a luxury item and one of the first things that can be cut out when trying to survive, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I also want to give a big thank you for passing my name along to your friends & family. I have so many that tell me they were referred and it makes my heart so happy. This is a gift that has been given to me. I remember just starting out wishing I was like some of the other local photographers doing so well at their craft and now I am here. It’s been a lot of hard work and hours and trial and error but I am thankful to still have my business running even though there have been some slow times.

I am feeling a lot of gratitude lately even in the storms.

So thank you.

Enjoy this beautiful maternity shoot. It was a hot summer night in Gruene, Texas. We managed to escape the crowds by going behind some of the shops. It’s always so nice to hear live music playing and the cicada’s singing in the trees, a perfect summer evening. These two will be welcoming their first baby very shortly. They are both beyond excited for this next chapter.

Newborn Photographer in New Braunfels, TX

Happy Friday! It’s been a week full of newborns and I couldn’t be happier. I specialize in newborn photography and it never gets boring. Each baby is so different and to learn their cues in just the few hours I am with them is something special. This guy came in, ate a full feeding then decided to stay awake for the family portion but was very content. Look at that big ole smile he gave us when wrapped in his momma’s arms <3 Then he fell asleep for the rest of his session.

He was a slightly bigger baby, 9+lbs and is just the cutest especially with all of that hair! Mom and dad were so full of love for their little guy. Their birth plan didn’t go as they wanted but they are over the moon to have him here. I am thankful to be apart of this special time. These newborn’s are only like this for a few short weeks and to be able to stop time in beautiful photographs for the family makes me so very thankful that you choose me.

Newborn Photography in New Braunfels, TX

January is a wrap and I couldn’t have asked for a better month of newborns. Each baby came in, did a full feeding and then dosed off for me to work my magic 😉 It was a great month meeting a lot of new people and seeing some familiar faces, like this family. The dad is my son’s orthodontist and it was a true blessing when I first met his family. We had been looking for a new orthodontist and had gone to serval local ones and I just wasn’t happy with what we were finding. Then I met his wife and kids and at our first session together she told me her husband just opened up a new practice. It was perfect timing and we are very happy that we found him. Since that first session we have done several more over the past few years and I was so excited when they told me they were expecting. I love watching my families grow and welcoming a new baby. The kids were already so in love with their baby sister and sweet Rory is the perfect addition!

I am now booking due dates into June 2024 so if you would like to get on my calendar please reach out, I’d love to add your baby and family. That newborn phase only lasts a few weeks, sadly, but it is definitely one you should have documented. From the little rooster tails on their hair, to their flakey skin, to the way they curl up as if still in the womb, it needs to be photographed because they change too quickly <3

New Braunfels Texas Maternity Photographer

It’s been a minute since I last blogged. Business has been growing which is great but it seems like the first of the year starts off a little slower especially after the holiday season. It’s been an adjustment for me to step back and just be still coming off of 3 months of solid work but it’s been nice. I am getting caught up around my home with getting things organized. I also baked my first sourdough loaf with it turning out great my first try, YAY! A friend of mine gave me some of her starter months ago and I had yet to play around with it. I stuck it in my fridge so I didn’t have to feed it daily and I was able to bring it back to life and if you know me and my cooking skills, that was a huge accomplishment!!

I shot my first maternity session of 2024 and I couldn’t be happier with the results! My client knew what location she wanted and she chose her outfits perfectly to match the style. Also we had 1 day of beautiful weather in between really cold and rainy days so with a schedule change we took advantage of the perfect weather. Normally in January we have a lot of overcast skies but the night we shot that sun was amazing!

Maternity sessions are really great to book to capture that special time right before baby arrives. Take advantage of booking one of these. I promise, you won’t regret it! Especially if this is your first or last baby it’s definitely such a special time to remember.

I am happy to be back serving yall! My goal this year is to be more present on my blog and share more of my sessions.
